                        Captain Mearaj Muhammad (shaheed)

      Captain mearaj muhammad is one among those who will be followed in times to come by the most daring and intrepid souls; thise who would selflessly dedicate their lives for the motherland.

This brave youth has given new meaning to talent,career and soldiery.Born in Peshawar

in 1985, he later was selected of cadet college

Ramzak.He was declared the best cadet of his batch.Afterwards he joined PMA in 2003 and kept displaying his brilliance and luster as a cadet. Capt Mearaj passed out from PMA with a distinction of being the Best Cadet of the course and winning covated "Sword of Honour";a dream of every cadet.He joined a distinguished Armour Regiment.He perform exemplary in his professional courses and routine regimental life.Son of a proud pathan family was not left behind once the moment asked for sacrifice.While serving in Frontier Corps NWFP since beginning of 2009,he volunteered for Special Operation Group(SOG).He knew the nature of threat and challenges lie ahead but that is how Heroes think,choose and act.Deeply committed his troops in routine operation,Captain Mearaj earnd a good reputation among his peersand senior.Then came the faithful day of 4th june 09.a police convoy was hit by Improvised Explosive device (IED) and came under fierec attack by taliban between dagar and rustam in buner district.

These terrorists equiped with latest weapons were in great no and were about to overpower the police.

There was an urgent need to dispatch a quick reaction force to relieve them of situation. 

Capt. mearaj volunterred for the task.

With a lightening speed,he reached with his troopes to the sight.

There he met not only with a deadly improvised explosive device

but a well entrenched enemy as well.

The battle began and mearaj seized the opportunity.

The time had  come to hit hard this barbaric and soled out enemy of Pakistan and Islam.

He led his troopes adroitly couragesouly. He killed man but with the price of his own life.

While closing to the enemy  and engaging him effectively, Captain was hit by the enemy bullets,however,before his last breath he ensured that enemy was killed too.

Before embracing shahadat he completed his jobs with preservence and obligation.

"Think of those who r slain in Allah way as dead. Nay they live,finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord;They rejoice int the bounty provided by Allah.And with regard to those left behind,who have not yet joined them (cause to )grieve ." Al Quran.(3:169-170)

                       Captain Bilal Zafar, a commando of pakistan army SSG embraced martyrdom on 17th of May 2009,fighting terrorists and milltants in the embatteled valley of Swat.

He always used to say "bullets cant harm me",and does it proved true.He was hit on the arm by a bullet but he carried on until he hit by an RPG where he embraced martyrdom on spot.

    His last message has been circulated widely on print and electronic media.

This is what he had to say:

"in the valley of fire .......In the thunder of bombs there r a few who just dont stop....... knowing that they r sorrunded by death.......Knowing that they could leave their wives widows and children orphens........But they just keep on moving because something is pumping in their hearts.......and flowing through their veins know as honour,devotion and motivation......dead over surrender.......that is why they say dead before disgrace.....PAKISTAN ARMY ZINDA BAD. "
